Harbour permits
Portland Harbour is owned and operated by Portland Port Ltd and therefore a permit is mandatory for kite surfers using the harbour. For more information on Portland Harbour Permits follow this link. Membership daily or full includes the cost of this permit.
A permit cannot be purchased from Portland Port direct and only club officials can issues them. All kite surfers using Portland Harbour must be either full or daily rate members.
Virtual membership DOES NOT cover your permit nor does it mean that you are a full club member. Virtual members come from all backgrounds and may or may not be registered members of the WPKSC.
