Overcombe Beach
Overcoombe beach is located next to the main road running east from Weymouth Seafront at the junction to Bowleaze cove. It is a shingle beach with numerous facilities including Second Wind Watersports and car park.
- Activity: Kitesurfing I.K.O level 3 +. Competent upwind riders only.
- Works best: SouthWest thru South East. Two hours either side of low tide for best waves.
- To be avoided: Offshore winds & Hightide.

Control Measures
- All Kitesurfers to read Club constitution
- If new to beach speak to Second Wind or local rider to identify potential hazards and raise beach awareness.
- Be aware and give consideration to other water users, especially swimmers and surfers who are not always visible.
- Ensure beach area is clear of all persons and animals when launching and landing.
- Only kitesurf when water is deep enough to safely clear the Reef.
- Launch and land in specified area, kite seaward to reduce risk to self and others.
