Skate Park

A busy shingle beach situated opposite the Weymouth Sea life centre and Skate Park. Two car parks in close proximity.

  • Activity: Kitesurfing I.K.O level 3+ Must be competent upwind rider.
  • Works best: South East thru East, 2 hours either side of low tide for best waves.
  • To be avoided: Offshore winds.

  4. Busy main road to cross to gain access to the beach.

Control Measures

  1. All Kitesurfers to read Club constitution
  2. Ensure beach area is clear of all persons and animals when launching and landing.
  3. Be aware and give consideration to other water users.
  4. Ensure road is clear and equipment is secure before crossing road to gain beach access.
