Full yearly club membership to the WPKSC is achieved via the BKSA. This is because the WPKSC is an affiliated member of the BKSA and, as a requirement of affiliation, all club members must have the applicable BKSA insurance policy.

Some of the benefits of becoming affiliated are as follows:

• By becoming affiliated, the club and its members are covered under the BKSA master policy. This covers the officers and club members for activities, social and events.
• Access (when available) to club BKSA race crew and equipment (including Safety Boat, PA, VHF Radios, Signalling devices etc).
• The club will also benefit from additional funding and the eligibility to apply for sports council funding.

Yearly club membership costs £5 per person and are an additional option within the BKSA application process. The BKSA pass that £5 directly to the clubs account and additionally give the club an extra £5 kickback.

Membership will run in sync with your BKSA membership and is valid from the date of purchase. This will ensure every member has in-date insurance.

Note:

If you are already a BKSA member and would like to join the club, please contact the club treasurer for further information treasurer@wpksc.co.uk

If joining the club separately from the BKSA membership process, your club membership will only last the duration of your BKSA membership.

Once your BKSA membership runs out, you will need to rejoin the WPKSC via the BKSA again.
