Jo Wilson Coaching Day May 2011

WPKSC were delighted to have Jo Wilson (PKRA champion) visit Portland Harbour and offer training to club members on the weekend of 14th/15th May.  A brilliant two days with wind and sun and success all round.

Jo's infectious enthusiasm was obvious from the start and everyone made fantastic progress very quickly, proving the benefits of coaching and its effective return in a short time. From the basics of early tricks and the foundations of nailing them to unhooked and beyond. Her experience and professionalism was evident through the ability to explain fundamentals in an easy to absorb method.  Coupled with her exuberance to help everyone achieve their ambitions, no-one could fail to progress up the ladder. Huge leaps of progress were achieved by all and she has vowed to return to Weymouth in the Autumn and repeat the weekend.

A big thank you goes out to Jo for travelling so far and giving so much.

"Really well organised and new techniques explained in very easy to understand way. Adapted to the the not so perfect conditions. Jo's technical knowledge enabled her to explain exactly what was going on in attempts of new moves. Also i have signed up to a  triathlon, you inspired me on Sunday. What have I done?"
