What's on & when

Sorry but there are no diary events

WPKSC is now affiliated to the BKSA

We are now affiliated to the BKSA (British Kite Surfing Association) which will allow us to move forward with some bold plans.  Chris (Mad Dog) has been wildly stabbing away at the keyboard and produced all the documents to satisfy this, so a big thank you to him.  So, what does it mean ?????

Affiliation to the BKSA will benefit the club by:

The aim of the club is to bring benefits to members and safeguard its future and the sport.  We are putting together a social calendar encompassing demo days, socials, events, and workshops/coaching.  Please consult the website regularly to see what’s happening.

Joining the club

The way to join the club is via the BKSA website.  Please go to
http://www.britishkitesurfingassociation.co.uk/bksa-membership/join-the-bksa.html

This will ensure your club membership and BKSA membership are in sync, and you’ll be fully insured.

If you are already a BKSA member and would like to join please contact treasurer@wpksc.co.uk for an application form. Doing it this way will mean your club membership will only last the duration of your BKSA membership.

NOTE: You must be a member of the BKSA to join our club.

Not being a club member doesn’t mean you can’t ride in Portland harbour, however, the Port Authority stipulate kitesurfers must have Insurance and a valid Permit.

So, how much will it cost and what do I get for my money?? I hear you ask...

Club membership is a mere £5 and can be selected within the BKSA application process. By doing it this way the BKSA will pass an additional £5 onto the club. So for every member that joins, the club gets £10!
Simples…

The Best Bits…

You will receive a club membership card that allows you access to club equipment, socials, bbq’s and other stuff.

Thanks to the kind people at Kiteworld magazine we can supply each new member with:

Not only that but as a WPKSC member, you will receive a FREE Never Come Down T-Shirt worth £14.95 if you subscribe to Kiteworld using the application form in the membership pack. This offer is only available to WPKSC members and isn’t available for standard Kiteworld subscriptions!

Additionally we have some more goodies from Kiteworld and other companies to dish out throughout the year, so keep your eyes on the website for competitions available to WPKSC members!

All that for just £5! Come one guys, you know its worth it!
